Online collections of images of the remains of the mangled and bloody dead (following an accident or some random act of violence) inevitably lead to mild psychic damage but also miss the point in a way.
Like anyone I am gripped by the idea of sudden, violent death. However it is the final moments prior to the crash/explosion that I find most fascinating. What would I feel and think as I plummeted to the earth?
